Whenever I press play on my launcher my game crashes

Hello,

Whenever I press play a message appears that says "game crashed sorry for the inconvenience". I have tried to fix it using the Java executable method but my copy and pasting of the executable don't work on this launcher. The only way I can delete the executable is pressing the x and the only way I can find a new one is by searching in my documents on my computer. I have already checked and I have Java 8. I have a mac and it is updated to macOS 10.5.
