Version Drop Down Menu not working

So recently, I've tried to change versions to play on my old 1.12 world. However, under the "installations" tab, I tried clicking on the drop down of the versions "menu". This did not yield results, so I tried selecting the box and typing. This also did not yield results. Is there any way to get around this bug? Other drop down menus work. There is not a drop down on the main "play" tab. Thank you. The attached image shows the installation tab where the versions menu is shown.
