Can't get past splash screen or Single/Multiplayer.

For a couple weeks now I've been unable to play Minecraft even though I was doing so a few months ago before is stopped working. I've tried uninstalling, deleting the %appdata%, and reinstalling. Both on the snapshot and latest version (1.14.4) I can rarely get past the mojang splash screen. Even if I do get past it, I can't load into a multiplayer or single player world as it always crashes trying. I want to play but nothing online seems to help and basic suggestions don't work either.
