Cannot craft quickly/ shift click anything

For some reason i cannot shift click blocks in my inventory to quickly move them, nor can i click and pick up or build correctly, i have to hover over the slot until one of the material is placed. i have to drag wile clicking to move things around my inventory, it makes it very difficult to fight when i cant sort my inventory quickly...

Help please!
