Debug Screen won't copy logs

So i'm working on a modpack for 1.7.10 minecraft and i need to be able to copy all the logs that come out from the debug screen. Now if i hit ctrl+a it only selects the displayed logs but if i scroll down it's no longer selected. Now if i scroll back up it deselects what was previously selected. If i manually select the whole list of logs and copy, it still won't copy more than what is currently displayed on screen no further down or up the list.
