Help! Updating Minecraft launcher deleted all my previous worlds

So, after updating to 1.14.3 in early June, i stopped using my pc entirely as i was in the process of moving for the next couple of months. As of Yesterday, September second 2019 i finally booted my pc up and updated all the apps/ programs that required it. After launching the Minecraft java launcher update, and the actual game, I looked all over my files for all my worlds that had dissapered. I attempted to review the "saves" using the previous version feature but was unable to load any older version of the file. I could really use the help in recovering my worlds.
