Cannot open Minecraft Java Edition 1.14.4

Upon pressing the play button in the 1.14.1 Minecraft Java Edition Launcher, Minecraft does not open and displays the follow message:

                                                                          Error
                                                                   Game Crashed
               An unexpected issue has occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the                                                                          inconvenience.

This is very annoying and if the issue cannot be resolved I expect a full refund as do I think the other hundred people here with the same issue of whom you have yet to reply to.
