I expected the game to launch. (Surprise! )

The game failed to launch and just gave a flickering splash screen. If it would help to know, upon exiting the launcher the following error is given: "Couldn't delete C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.6.2\1.6.2-natives-1326601460660 - scheduling for deletion upon exit." However, in the development console it also claims that the game finished without any detected problems.
