Launching 'Latest Release' of Minecraft launches a Minecraft Forge version instead.

If I launch the 'Latest Release' version of Minecraft (1.14.4), it will sometimes have selected a Minecraft Forge installation (1.14.4-forge-28.0.11), and will launch that forge version if I launch the game. In the installations tab of the launcher, the version option of the Latest Release installation is grayed out and I cannot alter it or interact with it in any way.
