Minecraft doesn't show the new Launcher

Just got this new laptop when i installed minecraft i launched it up, it loads the old Minecraft Launcher (1.6.9.1) Now i don't know anything about java or coding but i tried to Reinstall my MC clean, Restart my Laptop, Using Minecraft Staging. I don't know about you but i prefer the New Minecraft Launcher. Any help?
