cant opt out of beta launcher testing after opting into it

i downloaded the beta launcher bc i was curious about it, and i have used it a few times already, but i wanted to back out of it for a moment to provide screenshots to help them with something in the launcher. i found that when i uncheck "use beta version of the launcher" and close the launcher, instead of re-downloading the old one and going back to it when it's re-opened (similar to how downloading the beta version went), im stuck with the beta. here's a link to a video i made of it because it's hard to explain in just pictures: https://youtu.be/mfDB9Kl3uuM]

i figure this might be a feature not a bug, but i thought i'd report it anyways just in case. thank u <3
