New launcher closes after pressing Play

Played the game yesterday with no problems. The new launcher is the problem. I've tried running my modded 1.12.2 forge version, and deleting all mods and playing the newest 1.14.3 version. Neither of them work. When I click Play, the launcher closes and the game doesn't come up.
