i cant update to minecraft 1.6.2 and i cant get on my minecraft servers i just payed $75.00 on a minecraft rank

I cant udate to 1.6.2 I cant get on my servers my friends cant help me does anyone have the same issue as me please respond as fast as you can I need to get on minecraft I miss it so much ;( D:<
