Skin Not Updating

I changed my skin by going to skindex and then loading up minecraft.net, and uploading it there. I restarted mc and I ended up as Steve. I then downloaded the skin and uploaded it using the minecraft launcher, when I clicked "Save" it just came up with, "No Skin Chosen" and it just put me as steve. PLEASE HELP!
