"Unable to Create Temporary Directory"

Whenever I start the mc launcher, it is fine. When I select the Play Button, no matter what version I am in, it says "Unable to Create Temporary Directory" this started to happen today, where this has never happened before. Restarting and updating my computer doesn't help.
