Launcher takes forever to show up

Whenever i try to load the laucher it takes a really long time to open (maybe 30 sec).
It used to be instantly. I've attached a gif in real time of how long it takes. I already tried reinstalling minecraft and I even went as far as deleting the .minecraft folder before reinstalling.
