Can't find worlds or versions in game/launcher

So, one time I was messing around on the launcher (opening it on the desktop and taskbar at the same time and stuff like that) and something happened. Now I can't recall what exactly happened but Now I can't access any of my worlds or launcher versions. They're still in my .minecraft folder but I can't access them on the launcher/game so if anyone could help that would be appreciated! cheers! (p.s. the version doesn't mean anything they just made me put a version
