MCL crashes on loading screen

after clicking "play" on launcher screen the next white page with the Mojang sign keeps saying "not responding" ive unistalled and re-installed Minecraft and java and it still doesn't work. Also, launcher appears off screen. its easily fixed by right clicking window in taskbar and "maximizing" but its still very annoying...
