It will not load up or respond

Whenever I try to press play on any version minecraft will load up then it will bring up the mojang logo and stuff but then it says "not responding" and if I leave it it stays like that. If I try to X it out its like Java(TM) SE Binary is not responding. tried un-installing it and then re-installing it but nothing
