minecraft launcher does not appear on main display if closed on secondary display which is then disconnected before launch

Production is simple:

1. Plug in a secondary monitor
2. Launch minecraft's launcher
3. move the launcher window to the secondary monitor
4. click "play"
5. close minecraft
6. disconnect the secondary monitor
7. launch minecraft's launcher again
8. the launcher will not appear on the primary display and does not seem to have way to move it to the display.
