Water glitch in boats

What I expected to happen was:
When you break blocks while in a boat water should flow into it.

What actually happened was:
The water did not flow into the block; it just stayed next to the water block.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a boat
2. Get inside
3. Break a block while inside
4. Watch the glitch happen!
