Game Crashes on start

What I expected to happen was...:
I was trying to start up the game

What actually happened was...:
the launcher keeps crashing before the game even starts

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load up Minecraft
2. Press "Play" on the launcher
3. Wait for game to start but get an error report
