version 1.9 is not lanching the game

What I expected to happen was when I click play in the launcher it should launch 1.9

What actually happened was it would download but would not launch the game

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on the play button in the launcher
2. it would download the version
3. then it goes back to the play button
