Splash Text Changes Unexpectedly

When you launch Minecraft, you're given a default splash text. Normally, the only way to change this is to restart Minecraft. However, if you press multiplayer and then press esc, you're brought back to the menu with a new splash text.

Not sure if this is a bug, and it's not very severe, but just thought I'd report it.
