Projectiles can knock you off the map if you shoot them in the gateway before you go in.

Me and my brother killed the dragon and he shot his punch 2 arrow inside the gateway (we didn't really know what it was before we saw it).

When he enderpearled to the gate he was instantly knocked off the map and lost all his shit (he didn't have anything great on anyway but I think that kind of sucks)
