falling sand bug

falling sand turns into a normal block once it hit the ground
but thats not Always the case anymore when it hit the ground incorect it stays as a entity even it it is standing on grass block?

BTW:could i plz be linked to the sugestions forum?
also if you make a fallingsand fall on a block like fence and wall you get the same thing
