Water bug

PLease ignore the version above, but this bug is in the game since Classic 0.0.12a and I can't choose this one.

Dear Mojang team,

Water does not flow on half steps, but it flows around the whole block.
I know this bug is as old as there is water in minecraft, but these water bugs aren't beauties.
So I wanted to report it here.
Could you please fix it?
