Players are glitching back on servers

In Minecraft servers when you play games like skywars, skyblock e.t.c and you need to build across to somewhere it tends to glitch you back and can cause you to fall off and die.

I thought in the full release of 1.9 things would be fixed but of course there will be alot of bugs.

I was playing a game of skywars with my friends and then we tried to build to the middle then suddenly I just fell off and warped backwards.

Steps to Reprocedure:
1. Try and create a world which has all void
2. Try and build a tiny island
3. Now get blocks and try building across
