Snowballs launched from a boat destroyed instantly

I just noticed that after sailing in a boat and wanting to throw a snowball, the snowball gets destroyed immediately, by, as it seems, the hitbox (around the head approx.) of the player that launches the snowball.

And I noticed that if you spawn the boat, you don't make it move, and then launch a snowball, it gonna works fine. It seems the bug happens only if you moved with the boat.
