Minecart passenger left behind floating above track

A minecart was left running in a loop with a purple sheep named Dinnerbone as passenger. On two occasions different players (with different client OSs) saw the sheep stationary above the track while the minecart travelled round. On other occasions the sheep moved with the minecart as normal.
