Ghasts coming free of mine carts

Since the update to 1.9 the ghasts in my wither farm keep coming free from their minecarts. The carts themselves keep moving, with the ghasts left behind trapped in the workings of the machine. I believe it may occur when the chunks load and unload because it seems to work well enough if you stay active nearby.
