Copying named mobs (copy block key) does not produce an egg with the mob's name

Copying named mobs (copy block key) does not produce an egg with the mob's name.

When I have a Villager called Dinnerbone and I click the copy key on him, I should get an egg producing lots of Dinnerbones, shoduldn't I?
