Targeting dropped Items with teams does not work

When you add a dropped item to a team, it joins to the team (Name color changes), but when you target this item with a team it does not work!

First Command:
/scoreboard teams join Red @e[type=Item,c=1]

Second Command:
/say @e[type=Item,team=Red]

This Problem only applies to dropped Items, all other entities work!
