Issue with sleeping

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected that my character would sleep to change from night to day.

What actually happened was...:
I became trapped in my bed. I tried to teleport away via commands, instead I was teleported then teleported back to my bed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sleep in creative mode
2. Teleport away
