No sound when placing a block on a fence

When placing a block by highlighting an existing fence post (attaching the new block 'to' the fence), there is no "place block" sound like there is when placing a block by selecting an existing block's collider.

The lack of sound has been present for several weekly releases, but I misplaced my login info, so I could not report it earlier.
