Shield + Armor - "Bug"

This is just a little bug!

What I expected to happen was...:
That the Shield would look like it was in front of my arm ^^

What actually happened was...:
With my resource pack the armor goes over my whole arm.
When I equip the shield and block I can see the armor going through the shield, which looks a bit weird. This happens when blocking with a shield, no matter on which arm it is (left or right).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a Resource Pack in which the chestplate texture goes over the part of the arm, where the hand would be. (I used Zeros Pack)
2. Equip a shield.
3. Go in F5 Mode where you can see yourself from the front.
4. Block with your shield.
5. Now the armor texture should go through the shield.

PS: I used the steve model, don't know if it makes a difference ^^
