@e[type=Item] does affect whole dropped stacks

If you use the command /say @e[type=Item] on for example 43 dropped cobblestone, says item.tile.cobblestone ONCE.
It takes the stack as one dropped Item.

I think it should say item.tile.stonebrick 43 times.
