Arrows stuck on portal

Getting near the portal, started spamming arrows on the portal.
Some arrows went thru the portal onto the other side which they then dissapeared, some got stuck on the portal frame, then dissapeared, and some stayed on the portal for a long time, maybe a full minute or 2, later to dissapear.
