Fall through the platform when entering The End

When entering the End sometimes I fall through the platform to my death. I thought this might be a duplicate of other bugs listed about portals no putting you at the correct coordinates until I watched other players try to come through the end portal. While being in the End and watching the platform I saw other players spawn halfway embedded in the platform and then fall.
