Glitching Blocks/World

I made a new world in Minecraft since I had a couple ideas for creative mode and each time i move all the blocks disappear. Even the blocks i put down. I tried to see if the same thing is happening in survival and it is. I made a base in a cave (do not judge) and at first i went to go make a farm and everything started to glitch out. I dug up the block under me and i could see everything underground and all the chicken and mob textures were scrambled everywhere. Please help. I really do love minecraft
