My crafting is hard to use and items are being duplicated.... I hope you can fix it because i can not play.

I was playing single player minecraft 1.8.9 on survival, and I was trying to make a crafting table, but I found I could not drag items easily, and when I did, my items would duplicate and I could not make the crafting table..... I hope you can fix this, because I cannot play. I found this was also on creative....
