Boat controls turning left and right are switched

When using the default movement controls(pressing a moves left,pressing d moves right)going left and going right buttons are switched around.So when you press left the boat turns right and vise versa.
(actually I was wrong,I wrote how it was supposed to be.It works the opposite of what I said)
Sorry if this was working as intended.It just doesn't make sense to me.
