Items not being received by hopper/bounce over hopper or continuously on top of.

Items not being received by hopper/bounce over hopper or continuously on top of.

*What I expected to happen was to drop a item into an empty red stone powered hopper

*What actually happened was it just bounced over it and didn't go in, time after time.

I tried an empty hopper, I tried powered and non powered, I tried a brand new made one, I tried another location, different item, connected to another hopper; connected to nothing at all, a chest and yet still it continues to not go in and bounce over the hopper or bounce continuously on top of.

Nothing works whatsoever, so I'm reporting it as a bug.
