Effected arrows go away with infinity enchantment on bow

Hello,
Okay so bows enchanted with infinity will remove the effected arrow for example.. a Instant Damage Arrow will go away when you use the bow with infinity on it.. not sure if this is actually part of the game but it probably is a bug.
