Mobs destroy Armor Stands in 1.8.9

Mobs destroy Armor Stands in 1.8.9

What I expected was the stands to remain in place unless broken by myself or other players (unless protected under claim)

A creeper exploded behind me as i ran past the armor stands and i turned around to see armor on the ground and missing stands

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Stand next to an armor stand
2. let a creeper explode next to you and the armor stand
3. look at the armor stand and it should appear to be non existant
