piston with setblock and a redstone circuit makes piston_head go away

there is a bug when u make a cucuit like so and use the setblock ~blahblahblah ~blahblahblah ~blahblahblah air or redstone_block and time it right the following thing in the title happens (note that blahblahblah is relative cordinates for the part when you first put the redstone) and the command block output says block couldnt be placed but it places it (this is not a texture bug you can dig down directly from top of it
