13w06a snapshot, no hostile mobs spawn in the overworld...none

Multiplayer server, in the Overworld at night usually mobs spawn, right?? Wrong! It freaked me out... And n one seems to notice.... No hostiles spawn in the overworld, nether is fine as far as I know...
