End Portal Won't Form

In any world loaded in 16w02a upon navigation to a fortress, finding the end portal, and placing all the eyes in the frame, the End portal will not form. Bug is able to be replicated by others (http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/recent-updates-and-snapshots/2596971-16w02a-end-portal-forming-bug).
