The lava does not burn wood-related blocks!

I was accidently building with wood on lava

*What I expected to happen was...:
The wood to burn
What actually happened was...:
The wood did not burn

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a lava pool
2. put some wood in the lava pool
3. wait to see that it not burns
