Blocks don't drop anything

Sometimes, if I break a block, it does not drop anything. After a few seconds, Minecraft resets to when i broke the blocks, and they will drop the items.
Example: i'm mining. I find a diamond, and I mine it, but it doesn't drop anything. I walk away, but then my position and facing, the diamond ores and even the daytime reset (just like if i didn't broke them
